I specialize in natural light photography. In doing so, I believe it allows me to tell the most intimate real stories of your families in stunning settings. My approach to photography is a combination of both lifestyle and fine art. For newborn and family sessions I focus on capturing those tiny little details that make up the every day of your lives together. For fine art child sessions, I let your child's personality tell the story - enhanced by over the top concepts and wardrobe allowing them to fully immerse themselves in a little bit of make believe.
Whether it be a new baby, a family, or child fantasy session - I'll be sure to catch those fleeting moments so that you can enjoy them for a lifetime.

When it comes to scheduling our
session together, it's never too early!
Simply fill out the contact form and we'll get you scheduled. Once we've selected your session date, there's a retainer and contract to complete the booking process. When your forms have been completed, you are officially in my calendar

2. Planning your session and wardrobe
Once you've booked with me I'm in full planning mode. From selecting your location, to helping with your wardrobe styling and offering feedback - I'll take care of the little details so you don't need to stress! I will help you select the best color pallete for your family's wardrobe, and additionally will provide links to my most favorite websites for shopping. I can even offer specific clothing options and build looks for each individual family member! With fine art child sessions - we will come up with an amazing theme and wardrobe that speaks to your child's creativity and personality from start to finish.
3. Your session date is here!
On the day of your session, we will meet at our selected location ready to have FUN! I like to capture my families in their most natural state - running, tickling, playing and laughing. We will take walks through fields, skip stones in the creek, tell silly jokes and laugh until our bellies hurt. With newborn sessions, we will shoot in the comfort of your home where I can photograph you in your most relaxed environment. I like to have you interact with each other as naturally as possible - no
"look here and say cheese!" during any of my sessions!
I am ALL about those real, unposed smiles and tiny moments.
4. your photographs
Following your session, I go through your images and will select the best "keeper" shots to edit and deliver. I do not put a limit on the number of images you will receive! No need to worry about picking your most favorite images or worrying about what moments captures you may never get to see again. You will receive your ENTIRE fully edited, high resolution image gallery! Once completed, they're uploaded into an online gallery where you have immediate access to view, share, download, and optionally order heirloom quality wall art and prints. Session galleries are made available approximately 3 weeks post session date.

I'm based in Baltimore, MD and additionally serve the surrounding areas of Annapolis, Washington DC and Northern Virginia. I take a limited number of newborn clients
per month to ensure flexibility with scheduling. Please be sure to reach out as soon as possible to get on my schedule! Sessions are shot in my client's homes with a candid, lifestyle approach.

Fine art child sessions are whimsical and the most amazing opportunity to capture your child's spirit and personality. We will work together to create a fully stylized concept with wardrobe included, that represents who your child is at this moment in time. From play swords and river rafts to over the top couture dresses, we'll find what makes their hearts sing.
The here and now.
That's what family sessions are all about. I too often hear from clients that they wish they'd booked sooner. Time is a thief and your children will only be this age once.
